The Meaning of Life
I think I have been very patient with the spiritual tradition of Christianity. The Buddhist approach has been the most helpful in understanding "How shall we live?" The tools more easily answer the questions and difficulties in life. I just don't find leaving it to God as a very helpful answer. I am glad it works for so many people but I just find it unsatisfactory.

This is most certainly true
I went through Catechism class in the Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed during my adolescence. In Luther's small Catechism, each section ends with "This is most certainly true."
Much of the history of the Christian religion is to recite statements of belief or creeds. It seems that I thought the truth of the statements would eventually become clear as I matured spiritually. At this point in my life, I do feel that truth (small T) has become apparent to me.
These memories of my spiritual journey came to mind as I thought about how I have never believed in hell.
